An exciting moment in time: we are celebrating four years of collaboration with the EAN, the European Academy of Neurology! And with it, four years of eanCast, the EAN’s very own podcast! The “eanCast – Weekly Neurology” has been released on a weekly basis ever since. In spring 2026, the 200th episode was published, bringing us to season 48 (!).
What is eanCast?
This English-language niche podcast in neurology focuses on topics such as brain health, migraines, sleep disorders, and much more. Each month is dedicated to a different thematic focus. Guests from all over the world can be heard on eanCast. Both the guests and the respective hosts come from the medical field and bring their expert knowledge into the interviews.
Although the podcast assumes a solid level of medical knowledge from its listeners, it consistently achieves strong download numbers. This confirms once again: the more frequently and regularly a podcast is released, the stronger the audience growth.
Production Process
All of the 200+ eanCast episodes to date—except for four congress episodes recorded on-site by EAN—have been produced remotely. Coordination between EAN and Podcastwerkstatt takes place via MS Teams and Outlook. For remote recordings, we use the platform Riverside.
After recording, each episode goes through swift post-production, followed by approval from EAN and its weekly release.

The Brain Health Mission Podcast
In 2025, another collaboration with EAN was launched: The Brain Health Mission Podcast—a monthly podcast about brain health and prevention, designed to be accessible to a broader audience. More than 10 episodes of the Brain Health Mission Podcast have already been released.
